Pinterest is full of recipes for energy bites, delicious little nuggets of healthy, energy packed snacks. They're great for pre or post workout, when you are on the run, or if you just need a quick sweet fix. We've tried so many of these recipes, and eventually have combined them all, added a few things, and reached the ideal energy bite.
Mix everything together. Use a tablespoon to measure. Form balls. Let sit overnight (in the refrigerator if you like) Store in airtight container.
Tweak these to your liking, Substitute in cashew butter or almond butter. Use half the honey and the other half agave. Add dried cherries, pepitas, or hemp seeds. Trade half the oats for steel cut. Etc.
